Baby Abigail

Abigail Ann Schulze...what an angel. She is the newest addition to the Schulze Family. I was so excited to take this baby girl's pictures. However, I was a bit nervous. This was my first newborn session, so I didn't know what to expect. I wanted everything to run smoothly. To assure that, I had all the amenities available for my precious little model(soft blankets, a portable heater, classical baby lullabies, and Mama and Grandma close by for moral support). Abigail was a natural. Every shot I took of her was so adorable. I especially loved that I was able to use my vintage scale I bought from ebay ;) That was my favorite shot.

The Schulze Family

This is an awesome family. I am blessed that they are my neighbors. Both of our families arrived in Alaska last summer. Just within a few months we developed a close relationship with them. Our kids love playing together; it's as if they want to be with one another every minute of the day. Corrie(the mommy of the family:) and I have also drawn quite close. She truly is a sister in Christ to me.

This was my very first family session. The Schulze's were so kind to let me use them as test models. They are such a beautiful family.

Jayden's Session

This was my very first session ever.  I had just purchased my new camera via the internet and it was still on it's way(getting anything shipped here in Alaska seems as though it takes a millenium!!).  Jayden's mother asked if I could take some head shots for a Disney casting call.   Talent scouts had come to town and Jayden was ready to showcase his acting abilities.  I obliged, but had one problem, I didn't have my camera!! I borrowed her Nikon(which is an excellent brand, but I am a Canon girl all the way), and Jayden and I headed downtown.  We found a great location right outside of the Anchorage Museum.  Jayden was such a natural. He is going to be on the big screen one day :)
Here are some of the shots from my very first session.
